Google Docs
Description
Google Docs is a freeware web-based office suite offered by Google inside its Google Drive service. It was previously a stockpiling service also, yet has since been exchanged by Drive. It enables clients to make and alter reports or documents online while teaming up with different clients live. Google Docs consolidates the characteristics of Writely and Spreadsheets with a presentation program incorporating technology designed by Tonic Systems. This is similar to Microsoft Word but is online and is saved within Google Drive.

Non-internet alternatives
- A non-internet alternative is simple paper and pen which is always reliable. - Microsoft Word works without the use of internet and works the same as Google docs but has more features and functions to do more. - Notepads on laptops are useful when you have no paper or internet; they can be used as a reminder for you when you log onto the computer/laptop to remind you of an event etc. Target audience I believe the target audience would be people who go school, college or have jobs would use it more and people who stay home. The main target audience who mostly use Google docs are people in the age of 18 to 30 years, living in the European continent. From my view, most businesses use Google docs to write letters or create leaflets or posters and they range from the ages of 21 and over. |
